Best friends since they could walk. In love since they were fourteen. Complete strangers since this morning.
He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.
Never Never by Colleen Hoover definitely left lots of questions for me. It’s a great story idea but my fault with this book was it is short! It felt like more setting up all the pieces and mystery for future books.
Charlie and Silas, the main characters, have lost their memories and don’t know how or why. So a lot of the book is trying to figure out why.
I hope in the next book, we get more character development with Silas and Charlie. 🙂 even if they don’t get their memories back they can still be more engaging.View Spoiler » My favorite scenes in this book include when Silas and Charlie are confronted with Brian who reveals that Charlie was cheating on Silas with him. It was funny, how they handled it with no memories (not cool that she cheated though). Of course, I also enjoyed the ending when Silas reads the letter and we find out they seem to forget everything once it hits 48 hours, and Charlie is now MIA with no way to be reminded of who she is, and both of them forget everything again separated. Such a cliffhanger! « Hide Spoiler
Overall, a good start and can’t wait to see what happens next.
