A billionaire for Christmas...tied up in a bow.
Billionaires in Bondage, Book 3
Ever since his parents died in a holiday car accident, Harvey Caine has shut himself away with his lingering injuries and his guilt, hating Christmas more with each passing year. Clinging to the one obsession that keeps him alive-wrest control of Caine Enterprises from his aunt. When his longtime friend mentions a niece who needs a job and a roof over her head for a few days, Harvey agrees, figuring his mansion is large enough to ignore her.
Professional BDSM Mistress Kelsey Marley doesn't do "ignored." She's been hired to do what she does best-push the billionaire's buttons until his defenses crack. The paycheck will buy her dream of owning her own bar.
The Figgy Pudding Thickens:
As Kelsey administers the discipline Harvey needs to release his pain, she realizes too late they're getting too close, too fast. If he finds out she's been bought and paid for, this holiday might go down in his ledger as a big fat loss for them both.
Warning: Contains a wounded hero who never backs down from a challenge, and a badass mistress who doesn't flinch from his scars, laughs in the face of his temper tantrums, and has no problem administering a much-needed spanking.
The Billionaire’s Christmas Bargain by Joely Sue Burkhart is book 3 in the Billionaires in Bondage series. It is utterly sexy, emotional, and I enjoyed the whole Beauty and the Beast aspects to the book as another reviewer also mentioned.
Harvey Caine hates Christmas. Left broken and scarred in more ways than one after a car accident involving his parents, he’s shut himself from the world, plotting revenge. However, this Christmas season, things change as his only friend hires a professional BDSM Mistress, Kelsey Marley, to break down his defenses. Needing the money, Kelsey takes the job, under the pretense of being the friend’s niece and moves into Harvey’s home. Then things begin to heat up from there.
I really enjoyed reading about Harvey and Kelsey. Kelsey is a strong heroine, who hasn’t had things easy, but is still filled with dreams and the ability to love and forgive. She is definitely the right person for Harvey. The D/s scenes between Kelsey and Harvey are emotional and fit so well within the story. I also enjoyed Gordon’s character, Harvey’s longtime friend and servant. He is a supporting character but layered as well.
Overall, this is a great story that I highly recommend. Though it is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone. However, I definitely recommend reading the others because you’ll definitely enjoy them just as much as this one. (My favorite of the three is The Billionaire Submissive. I love Donovan and Lilly. A must read.)
(I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received from the author in exchange for my honest review.)
