Review
The Wright Secret by K. A. Linde is a contemporary romance about a strong, confident woman and the man whom’s she has had a crush on for years despite him being her brother’s best-friend.
Morgan Wright is the new CEO of Wright Construction after her brother Jensen steps down. Perfect for the position, Morgan is smart, determined, and can handle herself in the boardroom. Her professional goals are coming to fruition, now Morgan wants her personal life to follow suit, especially in regards to Patrick, her brother’s best-friend. To finally make him see her as a woman instead of like a sister.
Patrick has always though of Morgan as his best-friend Austin’s little sister. However, after a blunder and a week away from Morgan, Patrick finally realizes what’s been right in front of him, but is he too late? Throw in secret relationships, corporate drama, and the Wright siblings and this makes for a fun read.
Ms. Linde has written a great novel. The Wright Secret is more than just a secret brother’s best-friend romance. It has a lot going on in regards to Morgan and her position as CEO, as well as showing how the workplace for a woman in a position of power is different than a man’s especially when comparing to her brother Jensen. Morgan is an admirable heroine who doesn’t give up and her sweet camaraderie with her siblings, their significant others, and Patrick made the book so much more enjoyable. As for Patrick, he may have been slow to realize his feelings for Morgan, but once he does he doesn’t give them up even when things get rocky. I love that.
Overall, The Wright Secret by K.A. Linde is a wonderful novel and it’s no secret that I would gladly recommend. Look forward to reading more by this author.
